Can you believe we’re about to be in March? Me neither. It feels like there isn’t enough time in the day. I'm here with you for all of you who juggle a full-time job and parenting!

If we haven’t officially met, I’m Chris Connors, co-founder of candidate.fyi, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you about our new interview scheduling features, our article on the newest addition to a TA team’s tech stack, and some data we recently uncovered around pulse submissions.

This year has been an all-out sprint, as we’ve been onboarding customers, shipping new features, and, most importantly, ensuring that our current customers have the best experience with our product. That’s definitely an area where we constantly win unhappy customers from competitors. Customer support is a competitive advantage in 2024, and if you’re not getting white-glove service, then it’s time to look elsewhere.

What days of the week are candidates giving feedback the most? Let's look at the data!

Midweek is where most submissions lie, with over 60% of all submissions coming in Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Thursday was the winner with over 21% percent.

Sunday was (unsurprisingly) the clear loser with 2.56%

However pretty interesting there's over 7% of all candidate experience submissions happen on the weekend (Sat + Sun)

Candidates are engaged and thinking about the opportunity, even on the weekends!

At this point, we enjoy seamless, customer-centric digital experiences in virtually every facet of our lives—so much so that they’ve become table stakes.

Order your pet supplies from Amazon, a pizza from Domino’s, a dinner over DoorDash, a custom-made couch from Room & Board, a flower delivery, and you know exactly what stage those items are at along their journey from production to delivery by simply checking a temporary “portal” that tells you.

The interview process is one of a handful of remaining exchanges that fails to offer consumer-grade experiences, dissolving candidates’ confidence and excitement in the company.
